Cant "Connect to Spotify" from Messenger for Group Playlists

Cant "Connect to Spotify" from Messenger for Group Playlists

Group Playlists on Facebook Messenger sounds like a great new feature, but I cant seem to Connect to Facebook. It just bring me to Spotify Settings.
I originally signed up via Facebook, show on Facebook is ON
I've cleared cashe and even re-installed Spotify.
Can't find Spotify extension on Desktop so this I assume this is a mobile issue.

I have the exact same problem! Cant figure out why, cause I am connected to facebook on my computer..

Anything? This new feature seems cool but it's completely broken right now.

I am having the exact same issue! I have been in contact with spotify support over email and they have not been helpful -- they simply told me the following:

"It's very easy, just follow these steps:

  1. On desktop, go to Facebook.com and select settings
  2. Select Apps in the left hand column.
  3. Hover your cursor over Spotify (you might need to select Show all to see it).
  4. Click the X icon and select Remove
  5. Log in to Spotify and reconnect to Facebook in Settings.
  6. You’ll receive a message requesting access. Select Okay

Your latest Facebook settings should re-sync with Spotify, and you should be able to create group playlists."

I tried this a few different times, with no luck.

Same thing... The connect button re-appears after returning from the Spotify Android app.
