When opening the "Data saver and offline" settings, upon scrolling down, the app crashes; after reopening, the library is empty and playlists (accessible from the home screen) don't show any songs. Search can't be accessed either.
App behaves normally again after a reinstall or data clear until opening the settings again.

apparently me not having the chance to install a small system update for the past few days made the app not read from the SD card correctly? either way it works now, sorry for bothering, but at least it's documented now
Hi there @Katalice,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!
This is quite strange and since you mentioned that reinstalling the app fixes the issue, even temporarily, it makes me think that it might be cache-related. Have you followed the steps for performing a clean reinstall or have you just deleted the app and re-downloaded it again? If you haven't, I'd recommend it since it's more thorough and any damaged cache will be removed this way.
Can you also let us know if you're using a SD-card? If so, can you remove it to see if that makes a difference?
Keep us posted.
i tried following a clean reinstall but the files mentioned in the guide are seemingly removed upon uninstalling automatically. i do have an sd card; i was already going to try to remove it and put it in again. I'll write the rest of this when i do that.
results:
looks like it refuses to work properly when on an SD card, even though I've been using it from the card for years on the same and different devices.
