Crashing and forgetting artists

Spotify likes to crash at random times and it forgets about 30% of the artists I follow whenever I close the application.  I have tried getting in touch with Spotify Cares, but they seem to be both clueless and very slow replying to me.  Why isn't there a better way of reaching some customer service?  I have a Nextbook tablet that I usually run it on, but I'm having trouble no matter what I use.  I am very close to switching to Apple Music as I'm sure they wouldn't give me this runaround.  I've reinstalled it several times, but no luck.

Could you tell me what exactly is happening now? Is there possibly anything you did that you think might trigger this behaviour?

It's doing exactly what it was doing before, except I don't have to close it for it to forget artists.

How many artists are you following on your new account? Also, when does this happen, upon start-up, during a track, when trying to follow new artists?

It usually crashes when I look at a Related Artists page, but it can crash whenever.  I don't have to even close the application of have it crash for it to forget artists.  I'm following about 480 artists and users.  It does this on both my tablet and a PC.  I recently downloaded the latest Spotify update from the Play Store.

Just heard from Spotify staff, It seems this is a very strange case and the developers are busy looking into this 🙂

I think the last update solved some of the problems.  It's remembering my artists now, but the Related Artists page still has a couple of bugs.
