Device Broadcast Status - greyed out and throws "this setting is loading" error

Been battling with support all day and despite trying 2 accounts (1 of which is their test account), 2 devices and 4 android versions, they're adamant it's my device.

There's now 3 responses on X reporting the same thing - but until they report it themselves, Spotify won't investigate.

Would you mind testing it please? Settings->Playback->Device Broadcast Status

It was working last week, so I'm 99% sure it's a server/API issue.

Same here: about one week ago, this option was available for turn on/off.

Same problem here, but I checked, and luckily other apps can still see what I'm listening to, as if the feature is enabled.

They have disabled this feature because of the app Spotube.

Me too. And I'm here to make history for myself that i was got affected and showed up on spotify community page.

Is this only on the free edition? Was planning to subscribe but this won't work for me if I can't control it through android auto.
