I have noticed a lot of music sounding mildly to heavily distorted when playing on my tablet's speakers, but not on my headphones when plugged in on the same device. It's noticeable mostly on tracks that are recorded at a relatively low level (András Schiff – Johann Sebastian Bach: Das Wohltemperierte Klavier: Book 1, BWV 846-869 - Prelude in... and Campanella Trio – Iberia, Book 1 (arr. C. Dejour): No. 1. Evocacion) but not on louder music, which makes me suspect that when the speakers are active the tracks all get normalized with complete disregard for clipping, resulting in the distortion I'm hearing. Anyone else having similar experiences?
