Downloaded albums not loading when offline

Hello there!

Long-time Spotify on Android user here (even joined the beta and left it again). For a few months now, I have trouble when trying to listen to downloaded albums when being offline (e.g. flight mode). Basically, it's not possible. It doesn't matter if I enable the offline mode or not. They just keep "loading..." no matter what. Downloaded playlists work without any issue. The only workaround I found to play offline albums (in a long flight!) was to add them to the "playing next" queue.

I use a Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) and I tried to reinstall spotify. I even did a factory reset. It still won't help. I used Android 6 before and I'm using the Android 7 beta now. It doesn't matter: albums don't work when I'm offline. I can't imagine being the only one with this issue, but I haven't found a similar thread in the Android forum.
