Downloading all songs again after app update

Today I turned my phone on (Moto G3) and noticed that Spotify had hardly any songs in the Songs section of my  library?! (like about 2!) All filters were off.

Got to work, turned my phone on and off and spotify decided to download ALL OF MY LIBRARY AGAIN. (1372 songs) Even though it was previously downloaded fine the day before (stored on my SD card).

Interestingly, before it decided to download all my songs again, I was able to play all of my playlists in the car without being on a 4G connection/WIFI so they were obviously in there somewhere.

I find this infuriating. And no I havent changed anything or installed anything since last night, just apps updating themselves badly again by the looks of it.

Poor show.
