Downloads showing as internal

I am using android 6.0 on an lg g3. App works fine.. I have an sd card that is an external device so not using adaptive storage. In settings I have set downloads to save to external. But when i check the internal storage in setting it shows spotifiy as using 7gb of internal. Is just a display bug? How can I check that my downloads are going to the sd card?

It's nothing to worry about, just memory usage incorrectly reported. I did report it here but gave up. Feel free to resurrect the thread.
