Error code 112

Hi, Unable to get on-line since having new computer. I get Connection lost. Reconnecting...(error code:112) Firewall is set to allow Spotify through and I've even tried turning Firewall off.

Have you tried both the stand-alone app and the web-player?

 

If that doesn't help, we'd like to know if you are using Spotify at home or on a Work PC.

I too have this problem on my new PC.

The web app works fine but the stand alone doesn't.

First, we'd recommend taking a look at the solutions posted in this thread

 

@jasonroyhoward: If the issue persists after that, could you try a clean reinstallation of the app following the steps provided in this Spotify Answer and let us know how it goes for you?

 

@SENSEIMENDOCINO We hope you don't mind us replying in English as it's the Community's official language. It'd be helpful if you could check if the issue persists on your device after connecting to a different internet connection? 

 

Keep in mind that some shared or public networks (e.g. schools/work/office) restrict access to certain services. If this only persists when connecting to the your work network, we'd suggest contacting those responsible for managing the network for more information.
