Functional features removed from the app?

So, why does Spotify keep removing perfectly working features from the Android app?

Like the little search bar that lets you look for a song within a playlist? Yep, that's gone.

Or the ability to tap/hold tap on an artist that's playing, and be taken to their artist page? Yeah, that's gone too.

How about being able to tap the name of the current playlist up the top of the screen, and be taken to it? Haha, nah, forget about it.

I mean, Christ, it's hard enough getting these Devs to ADD basic features. I seriously can't wait until there's another streaming service that isn't a complete joke.

Edit: I had no idea that Spotify was automatically switching me to car mode without being in a car. My bad.
