Horrible User Experience: Removal of Downloaded Content

I apparently exceeded my 3 device limit on downloads.  I recently got a new phone and turned on downloads.  At the time, I was connected to the internet (phone and/or wireless).  It downloaded all songs.  I started listening to them.  About 30 mins into the music, it said I had exceeded the amount of devices and was removing the music.  HORRIBLE user experience.  Please check BEFORE we waste time downloading.  Please fix this.

 

Since I find no way of reporting problems on the Spotify website (why do they make this hard?), I am reporting it here.
