How to I set Spotify to stay on repeat?

When I put Spotify on repeat it automatically turns it off if I change songs or move through a playlist, how  do i set it  to stay on repeat?

Dear programers at spotify or who ever ***** decided to change the repeatbutton's function with the attitude of "improve people's life" while limiting users controls over possible actions. I never bother writing on any forum about such things but in this intsance i could not express my deepest annoyance. User action--- when repeat fails--> Facepalm *feeling deeeeply dispointed. To describe it more. Your hands tied behind your back while something makes you want to scratch you nose*

If Repeate..... means repeate.
Then.... if repeat Is clicked. -- Isn't it logical to assume it will be "repeat" until i unclick- or click it again to toggle/cycle  it.....  it Switches song when using the skipbuttons to return the start of the song and repeat is automaticly UNTOGGLED! 
clicking "skip to next[arrowkey]"  it does not skip to the song which is in repeate. basicly the loop is gone. 
If you wanted to go the next song automaticly or manual anyhow. Why bother having a repeatfunction at all.
I HATE super oversimplified things end's up being bad because its not thought through enough. "improving everyday" life is ok -within reasonable bounderies. The worst is to limit the users control or manual actions. Its like changinging something without user consent. 
One of the reapsons i skip apple all togethere- Spotify- don't become apple.
