How to make spotify stay on notification bar?

Hi All.

Im currently using s7 edge.
Initially even when i paused a music. Spotify would stay on the notification bar.

But now when i pause the music or someone calls or even logging into pokemon go. Music stop but Spotify just disappear from the notification bar. I have to go into the app itself to resume/play music.

Please tell me how can i fix this?

Hi, I don't get this on my S7 Edge. Are you running the latest version of spotify - 6.9.0.1212?

Go into notifications then click "more" and select spotify. I have "Allow notifications" and "Preview in pop-ups" toggled on and the rest are off.

Power saving could be responsible so:

• Turn of samsungs power saving mode.
• In Android settings > battery > app power saving
• Tap on the "detail" box
• Tap on "Spotify"
• Tap "Disabled"
