How to turn player off?

How do I turn the player off, on a Galaxy tab? How do I shut it down? 

And how do I listen through Chrone by logging in? Where to click?

What do you mean by shut down exactly? Android will suspend it once the app goes into the background for a while (and it's not playing). The only way to properly stop the app (like with others) is to force close it but that shouldn't really be needed.

You can listen through Chrome using the web player (play.spotify.com) but it won't work on an android device as far as I am aware.

So... the answer is that there is no "off" button. For me it would be easier if digital stuff imitated manual stuff. "On". "Off". "Record". The latest Spotify app is not completely self explanatory. 

But anyway, thanks for the answers. It´s not a perfect world  😉
