I can't see the "EDIT PROFILE" button on my mobile app underneath my name.

Since I've had my Spotify account, on the "View Profile" page of the app, underneath my name, where Google guides have showed an "Edit Profile" button, I only saw "Find Friends". I tapped the "Find Friends" button that then linked my Spotify account to my Facebook account, and now there is no button underneath my name. Straight to the "Playlists, Followers, Following" line. Do I need to add a friend from Facebook to "unlock" that feature?

The feature allowing you to edit your profile details should be present without having to add a Facebook friend. In such a case we'd suggest you perform a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the Spotify app. This way you can start afresh with Spotify on your mobile.
