I cannot play Spotify music by using USB cable from Galxy s7 to Car stereo.

Hi,

I had and Iphone and I was able to play music directly from the device into a car stereo by using the USB port.

However, when I switched to Galaxy I am not able to do this anymore.

I have read that this might be because licensing issues or something related.

Is there a way I can get my music playing again?

Most in-car head units are designed to work with iOS devices and generally won't work with android, even if you have mp3s stored on the mobile. If your head unit has bluetooth, you might be able to stream using that. Otherwise, you can get a BT adapter fairly cheaply like this one which should work with spotify.
