ISSUE: Bluetooth device name not updating

Hello there! I recently bought a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and I'm having issues with the display name of the device in the Spotify Android app. I already searched these forums and googled around (in both english and spanish) to no avail.

Basically, I started the app up when I first connected the Buds, and it showed the default name. Then, I changed the device name through my phone settings. Such change was reflected on other apps like the Galaxy Wearable app. However, the Spotify app won't update to the new name. I already tried reinstalling the app and it didn't work.

Any ideas that don't include rooting my phone and manually changing the name?
