Keeps stopping after every song

I have the same problem on Android with both my Xperia z3+ and my Xperia z5. Spotify keeps playing a single song then it stops and has been like this for months now. Just haven't had time to report it yet. To get it to start again you need to unlock the phone, maximize the Spotify app and press play. Incredibly annoying procedure after every single song. The app is useless as it is. I have made a clean install on the z3+ it didn't help at all tried to log off and log in again doesn't help either. Really need a fix now, if you don't have one I would like to know before the January so I can cancel my subscription and stop wasting money on a service that doesn't work.
Also noticed that the field that I'm writing in now doesn't support the "zoom in" function that makes it easier to place the pointer between letter when you need to edit a word on Android, quite annoying too.
