Lenovo A7-10 Can't move Spotify to SD

HI all.

Im a premium subscriber and also have read previous posts re: Lenovo Tab2 A7-10, but none have solved my problem.

I have a properly formatted 64GB SD card, so that my tablet recognises it, and the system settings allow me to use it as the 'write' storage, and displays 59.46GB.

The Spotify app, however, on install says 'No SD card found...We found no place to store...bla bla bla"

The card is completely empty and the device recognises it.

I have tried clearing the data, I have tried rebooting the device, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I have tried factory reset, I have tried moving the cache folder to SD, but nothing works...Spotify will not 'download' offline files to my SD, but my device accepts it as legitimate!!

Why the hell doesn't the app recognise the card when the device does?

What do I have to do and how far do I have to bend over, to get the app to work with SD cards, natively?

Do I have to resort to grey-legal methods to get the support that I supposedly pay for?!?

I don't have enough time at the moment, but here's two links that I found, you might want to take a look at them:

1) https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Android/Android-4-4-2-Cache-on-external-SD-card-is-possible/td...

2) https://support.spotify.com/us/problems/#!/article/switch-storage-of-Spotify-files-from-internal-mem...

These links might or might not help you at all, and I apologize if they do not. I will come back to you and this thread as soon as I get some free time.
