Malayalam Radio

I know Spotify had changed the way how the radio stations work. I don't have a problem with this at all. But when it comes to song radio for Malayalam (Indian language) it doesn't work at all. The radio playlists generated by the algorithm do not make any sense. Same songs are getting repeated. Also if I play a hip hop song, in the end, Spotify would play some random EDM or pop song. Spotify radios are working fine for English songs but in the case of Malayalam songs, it is just the opposite. Please look into this problem and tweak the algorithm to work with Malayalam songs also.

Radio Playlists are generated based both on the type of song and your music preferences. The algorithm also takes into account what songs are most popular with other users who enjoy this song/artist/album. So different users would get different songs generated in the Radio of a specific song.

Can you let us know if you experience this on multiple devices or just one? 

Also let us know your Spotify version and send us the links/URIs to some songs on which you observe this behavior so that we can report it.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

I'm facing this issue on multiple devices. I have also tried with different accounts. All of them shows the same problem. Random songs are getting recommended and repeated on all radio playlists. I'm using the latest beta version of Spotify. Here are some links to the songs that have tho issue.

Thanks for the info and the links.

We had a listen to the Radios generated from these songs, but the music we get in the queue is quite similar to the original songs.

We can suggest listening to specific sub-genres of the Malayalam (Indian language) music such as rock or RnB in order to get more and more accurate recommendations over time since that's how the algorithm works.

Keep in mind that radios are also influenced by what is most popular with other users who enjoy these artists in your region.

It can happen sometimes that you'd get a song from a completely different genre in the queue.

Also talking about the radio playlists, how can I get more song radio recommendations that I would love to hear. Some radio recommends me the perfect mix of auto-generated songs. I could send you the links of the songs which are working perfectly for me.
