Music doesn’t play for random songs

Hi I’m logged into my Android 9 device for Spotify and it seems that certain songs can be played while certain songs can’t be played. What I get is the song and then screen with the timer at 0:00 and it doesn’t move despite many attempts to click on the play button. 

When i I play it on my iphone, it works for every song. 

I tried what what others had suggested in previous threads, resetting, reinstalling but same old issue again.

Thanks for bringing this up in the Community!  

We know that you've already reinstalled but could you please follow these steps in this exact order: 

1. Remove all devices for offline listening.
2. Do a clean reinstall as described here.  
3. Restart device. 
4. Log out and back in again.

Let us know if anything changes. If not, could you tell us:

1. Do the songs appear grayed out?
2. Are you trying to play local files?
