Music pausing during ad on phone

So there is a problem on atleast android phones where of your playing a game, and a ad starts, it auto pauses the music. When the ad ends, it sometimes continues but not always. And this issue happens even though the game is completely muted. If there is some sort of fix to this, I would really appreciate if somebody let me know. Thank you!

Can you give us a bit more info about your situation?

So you're using a free account and when an ad starts while you're playing a game, music will not always start automatically when the ad finishes?

Try running a clean reinstall by following this Guide exactly. You can also go into your phone's settings and make sure no Battery optimization is enabled on Spotify and that the app is granted all Permissions.
