Music stops and volume changes on its own

Starting yesterday, my music will randomly stop but spotify says it's still playing. When it actually works, the volume goes from normal ( what I have it set at ) down to where I almost can't hear it and then back up a second or two later. I've tried logging out, updating my phone and the app, uninstalling and restarting. I just got premium about two weeks ago, so I'm not sure if this is an ongoing issue or what.
