My Question or Issue

After the most recent Spotify update this past weekend, most of my devices have lost the network connection to my Denon AVR X4100 which I use for most of my music streaming. I know the Denon connection to the network is working fine, as I'm able to see it and use/control it from the Denon app on both phones, the tablet and desktop listed above. 

 

I've been using all of the devices listed to listen to Spotify and connect to my Denon for several years now, with only the occasional small issue. After this most recent update though, the only device I have that detects the Denon as an 'available device" is the Nexus 7. The other 2 phones and the Windows 10 desktop no longer show the Denon as an available device.

 

While I would normally suspect that this might be a connection issue with the Denon, the fact that I can still operate as normal with the Nexus 7 tablet, as well as use the Denon app feature on all of my devices leads me to believe that the issue is related to the most recent update.  I use the Spotify connect streaming feature very regularly from all of my devices and I know the problems started immediately after my phones auto updated to the the newest Spotify release. (I'm not so sure about my windows 10 desktop, as I use this less frequently to stream with, but it has also worked for me in the past and now does not.)

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated, although I really just wanted to report this as a problem with the hopes that Spotify would be able to resolve and fix the issue with another update.
