I have spotify premium and recently set "downloaded/set offline" two new albums and for some reason they won't stay downloaded. I download the album, but then they become steamable again. Sometimes I have to connect to 4G or wifi before they become available again. For the rest of my downloaded playlists, they stay downloaded. The two album are frank ocean's, channel orange, and nas', life is good.

>Un installing / re-installing is the solution?
I saw this mentioned before and it supposedly doesn't work for everybody, BUT, it did for me!
So I got fed up and uninstalled the app. Then reinstalled it. No change and all playlists reappeared as available for offline with the same issue apparent - the newer songs would undownload themselves.
So I uninstalled the app again, this time also manually deleting the whole spotify folder from my sd. Thereby losing all downloaded tracks and had to download them again. So far I didn't see the issue happening again - all songs and playlists stay downloaded and available off line as they should.
I'm happy and up running - maybe you should try this too.
No problem trying this but: where is the spotify map on my mobile phone ?
The're was a spotify folder on my SD card named Spotify2. I deleted that after uninstalling.
I checked just now, but can't seem to find a folder named Spotify now - maybe it has to do with Spotify not downloading to SD in the current version? hmm, strange.
What a horrible answer
Sorry that was meant for response to some official spotify feedback.
Does anyone now of another service like spotify with a working app for android?
I saw that same suggestion as well. I'm on a Nexus 7. I cleared out my cache and deleted all my data, as well as the app, but I'm still having the same issue. I thought of deleting Spotify from my Facebook account as well and starting over, but thought that might be a bit too extreme. Glad I didn't now that I see so many with the same issue. It's obviously a bug,
how do i resync a playlsit i ran out of room
I'll stop everyone righ there now. We know this is a bug and there doesn't seem to be a workaround for it at the moment.
There's a bug topic for this in our new bugs section.
We know about the bug and hope to have it fixed in a future release.
