Newest Android app doesn't save it's place in my playlist

I have specific playlists that I use in my car. The Android app used to save my place, and when I came back to the car, the app would pick up where I left off (like if I had a CD in the car player). It used to disconnect once in a while, but not often.

The newest version of the Android app, loses my place everytime I close the app. When go back to the car, I have to find my place in the playlist (EVERY TIME). This happens whether I am in online or offline mode.

Is this something that can be addressed in the next version, please?
