No bass when playing over bluetooth speakers

Solved!

No bass when playing over bluetooth speakers

Hi

When connecting my Samsung Galaxy S5 to my Philips HTL6140 speakers Spotify "cuts" the bass from the song a split of a second in to the track. Also when jumping forward in the track the first quarter of a second pumps full bass, but then snipps off, playing only from the top speaker. The sub goes silent, like muted.. I´ve tried to play the same Spotify tracks to my TV and PC but then all works just fine. At first I thought it was the track or the Album, but its in total disregard of song, album, artist or anything else that could be a common nominator. Oh, yeah, I´ve tried from my other Samsung S5mini as well.. Same thing.. My guess its a Spotiy - Android problem..

Do you have any idea what the problem could be`?

I was having the same issue on my home and car stereo while connecting over bluetooth with my Android phone -- bass kicks in for a second but then drops out. What fixed the issue for me was to go into the Spotify app settings > Equalizer > Turn AudioFX off.
