I have been using Spotify with no issues for many months (Premium from day 1) but 2 weeks ago Spotify on my android smartphone started to disconnect from internet randomly, the problem got worst and now i cannot even log in... I tried to delete the app and all data and reinstall. It worked for a few hours and then the problem started again... I tried to log off and in again and it just doesn't work...and when i logs in it works for a few minutes and then disconnects..

 

Basically I'm paying an aplication that I cannot use... I want to know if there is any way to fix this before I cancel my subscription...there is no sense paying for something that i'm not allowed to use.

I have an HTC Desire 626 with Android 4.4.4, HTC Sense 6.0 Soft Version 1.10.709.2

 

Spotify with WIFI is working just fine.

 

Everything else (Youtube, normal internet navigation, bandcamp, soundcloud, game radio, etc are working just fine.) the only aplication that disconnects or doesn't find my internet connection is Spotify.

Hello @Soulchip & welcome to the Community!

Perhaps a full clean reinstallation helps to solve your problem.

 

Just follow these steps to perform one:

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
  2. Find Spotify in your list of apps.
  3. If you're able to, tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  4. Tap Uninstall to remove the app.
  5. Turn your device off and then back on.
  6. Open Google Play then search for and install the Spotify Music app.

I already tried that, it works for a few minutes, after that the problem
starts all over again.
