Not going to upgrade to premium

It seems that every annoyance is solved by upgrading to premium.  I was open to upgrading to premium when I downloaded Spotify to give it a try.  But it seems like the free version is intentionally annoying just to suck people into subscribing.  I'm afraid I can't reward that type of marketing.  I totally get that free users shouldn't have all the bells and whistles that paying users have.  But "annoyance removal" shouldn't be a perk of anything.
