Organise music within a playlist

I was wondering if there was a way to reorganize the music within a playlist after it has been downloaded to my phone. I only really use my starred playlist and on my phone the music is organized by download date. I want it to be organized by artist. Is there a way to do this?

The only real way seems to be to organise the playlist through the desktop app, then hopefully the phone will sync to reflect those changes
