PS4 - Spotify, can't stream local files from PC?

When I set PS4 as the active device my Spotify songs play fine but my local files are greyed out, and if I try to play it on the PC then change device to PS4 it says ""can't play this right now"

Has anyone else ran into this and know how to solve this bug?

Local files can't be streamed using connect.

When you control another device using connect, the music is not streamed from the device you are using as the control. You can prove this to yourself - start a playlist from your android and set playback to the PS. Then power off your android and the PS will continue playing as it streams direct from Spotify.

Since streaming isn't involved, your PS doesn't have access to the local files on another device so can't play them.
