Play local files on Android phone (Samsung S5)

I have some songs ripped from a CD stored locally on my Samsung S5 with Android 6.0.1, bit I can not play them using the Spotify app. I can play the local files on my PC (ahve stored them locally there as well). Anyone with a solution, or is this set up just not possible?

Hey there!

Yes it is possible, but only through a PC or Mac and you will need Spotify Premium.

Essentially you're going to make a series of 'local files' on your machine that will then sync back to your Samsung S5 in a way Spotify can understand. This will mean you will have to copy the mp3 songs from your s5 to your machine. 

Once you've done that, the best thing to do is follow these wall made tutorials!
