Playing Next Song Wakes Adaptive Display

Not a major bug or issue, but I have noticed that on my OP3T, the adaptvie display will wake whenever a new song plays on the Spotify app? As in not me skipping, but just the next song playing. Any fix for this?

Hi,

it's not a bug it's a feature! 

You probaly have "Wake screen when you receive notifications"  in the android settings enabled, this causes the device to wake up whenever a new song plays on the Spotify app.

The only way i know to "fix" this is by disabling lock screen notifications for the Spotfiy app but i suggest not to do this, because this will remove all notifcations from the app so that you can't control Spotify from the lock screen anymore.

How To:

1. Open your device's Settings app
   
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Tap on the Spotify app.
4. Tap the On the lock screen option.
5. Choose Don't show notifications at all.

Note: This may varies from device to device
