Playing audio on desktop eventually causes song to start on phone

When I am trying to listen to music on my desktop, eventually when the playlist switches to a new song, the audio will come out of my phone instead of the desktop. If the session started from my desktop, why would it ever switch to my phone unless I physically choose to do so?

This has happened to me twice in the past hour or so and happens with annoying frequency when I am at work (causing my phone to BLAST out music if I haven't happend to mute media audio).

I wasn't sure if this was a desktop or android issue. Filed in android.
