Spotify switches from Car Bluetooth to Sonos at home

My Question or Issue

Hello,

Since some weeks I have (not always but more often) following strange behavior:

• I start my car
• My iPhone connect to my bluetooth dongle
• I open Spotify and start any playlist
• I start to drive
• After some minutes I can't hear any music
• When I look on my iPhone screen, I see music is still playing
• In the footer row I see the "speaker" icon instead of the "bluetooth" icon.
• I click on that icon and see, that Spotify is connected to my Sonos system at home.
• I have to click on the bluetooth icon to switch to my car bluetooth donge again.

Why does Spotify switches automatically to a another system? How can I  change this behavior?

I'm having similar issues.  I play Spotify through Sonos in the evenings at home.  When I leave in the morning and get in my car, Spotify begins playing in my car but it also starts playing in my house through Sonos.  This is really annoying.  And no one in the house is starting Spotify or anything.  It's directly linked to when it starts playing when my car starts up.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, This just happened again today, 7 Feb at 0750 Eastcoast Time.  I would appreciate any help with this. When I approached my vehicle, Spotify started playing music in my home.  Thanks.

I'm having a similar issues using my Denon 550 soundbar (Heos). Let me describe 2 different situations.

A week ago I was listening to Spotify on my car audio system using bluetooth of my phone. The music stopped mid-song. I immediately got a call from my spouse who was at home. My music started playing at my soundbar while she was watching a movie. This happened 3 times during the drive!

Then, yesterday, me and my girlfriend were driving and listening to Spotify in the car with the same setup. During the 2 hour drive, the phone switched 4 times to my soundbar at home without any of us touching Spotify while nobody's at home.

My Question or Issue

Hi all , I've been using Spotify today whilst I've been at work in my van connected to Bluetooth and 5g playing downloaded songs on my Galaxy S24+ phone , I got home tonight and checked my Galaxy Tab S8+ tablet and Spotify has been playing on that as well , that's on my home WiFi ! I checked by playing my phone on 5g and it immediately comes up on the Tablet , is there something I need to turn off in Spotify tablet settings to stop this happening ??? Thanks
