Playlist Ignores What I Type in the Playlist Filter

Here's the situation: I have all of my playlists, and I often like to search within them by using the search bar at the top (this is on Android). It shows me what I want to see, but when I click on it to start, it behaves as if I never typed anything (i.e. Song A is in position 1 of the playlist and even though I filter for Song B, which is now shown in position 1, it still plays Song A).

Has anyone else had this issue? It's super annoying and the only "solution" I've found is to make a playlist for every single thing I may filter for within a playlist. I've already done the usuals (clear cache, clear data, mess with files in file viewer, full reinstall). None of these solutions have worked and this bug is so severe that I can barely use any of the playlists I've spent years constructing.

There is some issue with this at the moment but Spotify know about it and they are working on a fix. You can follow the official thread for latest info and status.
