Playlist shuffle doesn't do a good job

So basically ever since the new Android visual update my massive playlist doesn't seem to shuffle my music properly. So I'm stuck listening to the same songs every time I want to use my playlist and it's insanely annoying.

For the past several weeks a growing number of Android users have been reporting the same issue. (Look through this forum and you'll see what I mean.) I've been experiencing it for four months now (meanwhile, my non-Android devices shuffle just fine). So far Spotify has been unable to explain or solve the problem and will barely even admit that it exists. A few moderators on this forum have directed people to "solutions" that are completely irrelevant. It's maddening.

I'm also experiencing this issue. I have a playlist with over 3000 songs on and it only seems to shuffle and play the latest 100-150 of these. Frustrating! I doubt I'd notice if I had a smaller playlist, and I doubt many have them that big so this issue could be missed. Please fix Spotify!
