Podcast plays next song in correct order only some of the time

My Question or Issue

 When I

- play a podcast playlist (The Bright Sessions)

- and the playlist is sorted by episode date 

- and the current episode finishes

It should play the next  song in playlist order. But about 50% of the time the playlist starts from the first episode. 

See attachment. If the episode at the red arrow is playing and finishes playing there's a 50% or so chance that the next episode will play and the rest of the time it plays episode 1.
