Podcast restarts after an advertisement

My Question or Issue

For couple of weeks now I have had this issue of podcast jumping back to start aftet an advertisement. This happened in Trigonometry and Piers Morgan podcasts. They both have ads that are included in the show but they are not the problem.

The problem is that sometimes there are these 1 minite long advertisements that are not part of the show (you can't jump to for example for certain part of the podcast and always have the same advertisement). After this ad the podcast jumps back to start and starts playing there. It could happen in after 2 minutes but more frequently aroun 15min mark. Very annoying as you have to get your phone out and try to search where you were in the podcast.

I'm not sure of it is just this one ad what does this. In that ad they repeat a womans name several times (I usually try to fast forward the ads). It might be ad about Isbael Brown, who seems to be podcaster on Spotify.

I did the clean install but I can't tell if it fixed the problem. I have had those advertisements now showing up at very start of the podcast. I'll need to wait and see what happens when they show up in middle of a podcast. But I'll update the post when I know more.

So far I haven't had the issue anymore so the reinstall fix worked.
