Podcasts Resetting After Removing Headphones

My Question or Issue

Almost everytime I remove my headphones or AUX cable, the podcast I'm listening to restarts to the begining.  It makes it really hard to find my place and continue listening.  I could be removed for 3 seconds to switch from listening in my car to putting on headphones, but it still restarts.  It's the only thing about podcats on Spotify that is holding me back from making it my go to podcast app.
