Problems since the latest update

I am new to these forums, so please excuse me if I am posting in tbe the wrong place. 

My Spotify  is randomly closing. When I do click the X to close it keeps playing and I have to manually shut it down in the settings of my phone. The app keeps playing when I watch a video on YouTube.(it used to pause one or the other) Also songs randomly shuffle.

This all started with the latest update

That doesn't sound quite right.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.
