Random songs play instead of album

Solved!

Random songs play instead of album

When trying to shuffle an album, roughly 0 of the tracks are played while some other unrelated trash (often not even of the same genre) play instead. Why? If I am lucky I get around half of the album I tried to play, although regularly get nothing before like 5 unrelated tracks, at which point I typically give up.

I'm sorry.

Being able to listen to music on-demand is a Premium feature. If you'd like the option to do this, you'll need to sign up for Premium.

You can find more info on how the Free tier works on mobile devices by checking out this support article.

Hey @SomeLobster! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

That doesn't sound right.

Have you checked your play queue before you were trying to play the album? Maybe all of the unwanted tracks are queued up there.

Do you use Spotify Premium?

Peace

Hi, unfortunately I only have spotify free at the minute. I also have the autoplay "recommended songs after your music finishes" feature off if this makes a difference.

@SomeLobster

That's no problem. ^^

It shouldn't happen after you've set the option 'recommended songs after your music finishes".

Please let me know the following details:

1. Exact Device (e.g. Samsung Galaxy 4)

2. Exact operating system (e.g. 4.4.2)

3. Spotify app version installed (2.0.0)

4. About how many playlists do you have?

If you could get back to me with those details it would be great. Thanks! ^^

Peace

1. Vodafone smart N8

2. Android 7.0

3. 8.4.64.555

4. 10
