Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. We moved your post from an old thread to a new one for visibility, hope you don't mind.

This behavior usually happens when a phone (running Android OS) doesn't have another different player to handle the selected audio file. So first, we'd recommend checking if your phone has a different audio/music player app and if not, downloading one from an official source such as Google Play. 

After this, you can change the default app to play the audio files directly from your phone settings. The process may vary between devices but the regular path is: Settings > Apps > Default apps, and then selecting the "Music" option.
