Recently added songs to 'My Music' are not being played in Shuffle mode

Hi there, 

every now and then I add some new songs to 'My Music'. Since I do not want to create thousands of playlists, I sometimes open the 'Songs' list, that contains all the added songs, and shuffle them. However, it seems that songs that have been added recently are not being played. They do not appear in the waiting list... The waiting list contains songs that have been in 'My Music' like forever. 

Why is that? Can someone explain? 

PS: This does not only apply to Android but also to Desktop---

Can you fire over the devices and the Spotify versions you're rocking? 

Also, did you have this issue before? 

In the meantime, could you try reinstalling both apps to see if that helps?
