Running spotify on LG V10 (android 5.1.1)

Hi Spotify team.

I am using the LG V10 (android 5.1.1) which has a ESS DAC to to provide hifi feature.  The version i am using is the latest one 4.0.0.800.  However, the spotify does not support hifi dac feature. is not support When i activate the HIFI feature in the phone while i am playing music in spotify, there is no change in the sound quality, as oppose to using the build in music app or Tidal where there are significant difference that you will obviously know it is working. Can you help look into it?
