STUPID SPOTIFY UPDATE WITH NEW APP LEFT 5 GIGS OF NONSENSE ON MY PHONE.

I only have 15 gigs on my phone.  all my old music from old app is on my phone and it is not showing up to delete when I go through the files while hooking up to a computer and searching.  AND YES I have gone through settings and deleted catche and other saved crap from spotify and still on there.  See there in that pic?  All that "other" is old downloaded, unusable spotify music.  HOW DO I GET RID OF IT!

Have a look using File Explorer, you are looking for a folder called com.spotify.mobile.android.ui. On my device is was in:

/storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.spotify.mobile.android.ui

Be aware if you come across a spotify.music folder that is the new app.

I would suggest a clean install. Uninstall the Spotify app and to check that nothing is left navigate to the following folder:

Android\data\com.spotify.mobile.android.ui

Remember to check this on both storage locations if running a phone with ext_sd as well. so you need to check '/Emulated/0/Android....' as well as '/ext_sd/Android...'

If this folder exists in eaither, Delete it!

This should completely erase any remaining files from the install. Now re-install & login (as well as re-download all your offline playlists).
