My Question or Issue

Whenever I start Spotify and select a song to play, it will play but the sound is muted and I have to press the Volume button to get the sound to work.

How do I solve this, so that I don't continually miss the first few seconds of  a song. It's infuriating.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

 

Could you let us know if this happens in the beginning of every song or if it only happens with the first song you want to listen to when you open the app? 

 

On another note, is this happening across devices or only on a specific one?

 

Lastly, we'd like to know if this started happening after a specific event such as an update.

I'm super sorry to hear that.

Now I noticed  you listed 3 different  devices each with a different OS.

Is the problem appearing on all three or just one? (it'd help to know which one in that case).

If it's on all devices, it's most likely an issue within the account but it's hard to suggest anything without being certain.
