Share song function doesnt allow me to select from my followers or people i follow - only on mobile

Previously when sharing a song with one of my followers via the direct message option it would let me type in a letter and it would immediately bring up all followers or people i follow who have that letter as the first letter in their username. Allowing me to select easily without having to type in peoples exact usernames. Now nothing appears when i type and i have remember the personals exact username letter for letter which makes it a long process and puts me off doing it at all. This problem only occurs on mobile i have a samsung galaxy s6 edge. Anybody help for had the same experience?
