Skipping causes playback to fast forward and podcast duration missing

I also have a similar issue, and another unrelated one since the update. When I skip song with the car buttons, it fast forwards the song and is stuck on fast forwarding. 

the other issue is that the podcast duration and time remaining is no longer shown in the my episodes section of the library

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community. We moved your post to a new thread as the issue you're experiencing is slightly different. 

Just to confirm, does the same happen with the mobile app controls? If it works as expected on your phone, we suggest that you remove your car from your phone's Bluetooth list and pair it again. Then, restart your phone to see if it does the trick. 

If it keeps happening, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app on your phone to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. Also, make sure to check if the OS of your phone has any pending updates. 

Regarding the second issue you mentioned, we have this thread where we've been getting reports about this. In this case, you can add your info there and we'll let everyone know as soon as we have any updates about it.
