Smart shuffle does not create a new mix/shuffle order

Whenever I turn smart shuffle on, it does not generate a new shuffle order. It queues the exact same songs in the exact same order every time. Unlike regular shuffle which creates a new mix everytime it is turned off and on, smart shuffle queues the same exact songs. This is a very recent issue. Happens on both liked songs and playlists.
Have tried eating cache, restating phone, force stopping app. App is up to date. Device: galaxy s23 ultra. Premium subscription

Hi, I have an issue with my spotify shuffle. I use spotify free, and whenver I shuffle my playlist, it plays my songs in the exact same order for a few hours throughout the day. like for 5 hours or so, if I go to that playlist to shuffle, it'll play the same order. Later, it will change but still play those songs in that same order if I shuffle again. Happens on my phone and on my computer, the same songs shuffled in a similar order.

Not my playlist starting from first song, it'll just pick a few songs and only go to those songs for a few hours if I press shuffle. Like it'll go to the same shuffle for a bit.

Obligatory post to remind that it's been forever and this still isn't fixed. How about you scrap the whole smart shuffle and bring back enhanced playlists which were so much better way to do what smart shuffle is trying to do.

Smart shuffle is only playing one genre from the first time I used smart shuffle, and is not suggesting songs from other genres, despite it playing in my liked songs playlist that has a wide variety of music in it. I believe it is playing the same 10 suggested songs as other have noted. Disappointed and find the feature unusable in the current functioning format, even after all this time of paying for the subscription and it being a known issue!

I really would like the team to know that removing this feature is not an option, because although its queuing only K-POP for me its a really good blend of music. 😠 (id rather it be metal music).  my issue is that it also loops the same 10 songs.

Thank you for your feedback! Spotify, however, has no interest in fixing the described problem at the moment. Spotify might keep it in mind, though, as it continues to improve its operations in the future.
